La Cocina VA is a workforce and entrepreneurship development nonprofit organization that offers bilingual culinary training, job placement and food assistance to immigrant communities and other communities of color. Students receive English and financial literacy classes, industry credentials and certifications that allow them to obtain living-wage jobs. With New Zero Barriers Training and the new Entrepreneurship Center, they will be able to train up to 120 individuals a year.
