The Dominion Guild is a women's organization with a mission to invest in charitable organizations operating in Northern Virginia.  We support a diverse group of nonprofits through volunteerism and fundraising with the purpose of building a stronger community. We are proud to have raised more than $1.5 million in aid to local nonprofits since our founding in 1986.

Our primary fundraiser is the very popular annual Merry Market.

The Dominion Guild Grant will support their Youth Development for one year. The program integrates bi-monthly events with expert-led life skills workshops and soccer-based activities. These programs are designed to inspire and equip underserved youth with the skills needed to succeed on and off the field while fostering community connections and breaking down systemic barriers.

Arlington Artist Alliance is an organization representing and encouraging art in our community. The Dominion Guild grant will contribute to two community partner exhibitions - the Arlington Career Center Student Show and the Arlington Weavers Exhibition which showcases the work of local artisans with disabilities (primarily Down's Syndrome) to offer a professional center to offer and sell art while increasing fine motor skills, memory, and concentration and building confidence.

Arlington Neighborhood Village (ANV) is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization dedicated to helping older residents of Arlington, Virginia continue living in their own homes -- safely, independently, and with an enhanced quality of life.
A village is a community-based network of neighbors helping neighbors providing support services and social and educational programs to its members. ANV helps seniors age safely in their own homes by providing volunteer-driven practical help and social connection. ANV serves 455 members ages 58-102 with 42% receiving financial aid to ensure income never prevents access to support. The grant will be used to support a portion of its General Operating costs.

Britepaths helps cover immediate needs like grocery gift cards, rent assistance, etc. and also works to improve clients' financial situations in financial empowerment and workforce development programs. Britepaths provides short-term safety-net services to our neighbors in need while empowering them to work toward long-term self-sufficiency. We deliver our services with respect, compassion, and equity, always preserving the dignity and self-esteem of our clients. The grant will fund general operating costs to cover their work on behalf of residents of Northern VA living with low and middle incomes out of financial crisis and on their way to self-sufficiency.

Cancer Kids First (CKF) is the world's largest youth-led pediatric cancer nonprofit. We strive to normalize the hospital environment and build a supportive community for patients through five service programs. We donate cards, crafts, toys & books, hospital resources, medical equipment, dream gifts, and host interactive virtual events. Our youth-led team is at the core of our mission and services; we intend to encourage young people to help others their age.They will use the grant to support its general operations for the first quarter of 2026 as they focus efforts on pediatric cancer patients through previous partnerships with hospitals in the Northern Virginia region.

Culmore Clinic is a nonprofit healthcare clinic offering free, compassionate, respectful and inclusive medical care, counseling, and specialty referrals to uninsured adults in the Falls Church, VA area. This grant will be used to provide essential prescription medications to uninsured, low-income adults in the Bailey's Crossroads / Seven Corners community. The funding will ensure continued access to life-saving prescriptions, improving health incomes, and strengthening the well-being of the community. 

Doorways-Logo

Doorways is a community-based nonprofit providing services, shelter, and supportive housing for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and their families. Through the generosity of our partners and supporters, we help our most vulnerable neighbors survive crisis, rebuild their lives, and achieve brighter futures. The grant will be used to support its Revive Domestic and Sexual Violence Counseling Program which provides free community-based, individual counseling, and therapist-led support groups for adults, youth, and children impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, and/or stalking.

OAR Logo

OAR is a community-based nonprofit organization working with men and women returning to the community from incarceration and offering alternative sentencing options through community service to youth and adults. The grant will fund approximately 20 participants and/or 10 families impacted by incarceration to obtain and retain safe, stable housing in 2025 through short-term hotels, rental properties, housing, and eviction prevention assistance.

Shelter House

Shelter House, Inc. is a community-based, non-profit organization that provides crisis intervention, safe housing, and supportive services to neighbors experiencing homelessness and victims of domestic violence in our community. The grant will be used to provide flexible financial assistance to victims of domestic violence who are attempting to flee abuse in their homes but do not have the resources to do so on their own.
